Pappo had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. This is the first studio album from Pappo since bad diagnosis in 1995. On the Bulgaria charts, superstar Pappo’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is what good Blues should be.
I like the idea behind Ruta 66. Charming song, great melody. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Pappo’s Blues, vol. 8. Blues para mi guitarra - This is a very lively song. After you’ve listened to Castillos magicos espaoles, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Algunos deslices is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. People don’t care was the first single release from the album Pappo’s Blues, vol. 8. Paramount souffle has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. When listening to Penetieso Blues, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. PBA Blues is a striking and quite long song. Voice of Pappo in Duendes is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Perro en la vereda is outstanding work of Pappo. I was truly moved when I heard Tomi demasiado.
