Straight from the Heart is an amazing album, racked with beauty. On the Turkey charts, superstar Patrice Rushen’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Since Patrice Rushen last CD (Straight from the Heart) on EMI Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
I Was Tired Of Being Alone is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Straight from the Heart. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Number One (Instrumental) has a fun tempo. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I was truly moved when I heard Breakout!. There is cool mix of music in If Only. Remind Me - This is a very lively song. This is one hell of a track. Forget Me Nots (12′ Version) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Breakout! (12′ Version) is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Number One (Instrumental) (12′ Version) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Forget Me Nots (Single Version) is another favourite of mine. Breakout! (Single Version) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
