Patricia Spero had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Patricia Spero comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This album has some very good songs like The Thorn Birds Theme and Barcarolle From The Tales of Hoffman. Last Hot Album by Patricia Spero
Barcarolle From The Tales of Hoffman is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The Windmills Of Your Mind without a doubt is the standout song of Harp Moods. Medley To A Wild Rose is the most memorable and perfect. Evergreen is a good listen every once in a while. Patricia Spero sings Valse Bleue in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Patricia Spero allows each song to breathe and flourish. Music and lyrics of Spanish Romance creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Londonderry Air is just simply stunning. Put Autumn Leaves into car stereo for your highway driving It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. It’s such an underrated song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Harp Moods is Scarborough Fair. Medley Gnossienes #1 stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. If I loved you is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Raindrops is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Charade as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. After few listenings I started to like Summertime more and more.
