Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell on ‘Under Heaven’. While no new Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in South America. Since completing 1994’s ‘Under Heaven’, Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is one of Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell best albums
Some call Blue Shift from Psychonavigation 2 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I hope to keep hearing Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell works for a long time to come. In The Hell Of The Same it becomes nowhere more obvious that Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell has yet to define own style. First time I heard Infinum was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
