Since completing 1995’s ‘Perte (Eminent Domain)’, Preisner, Zbigniew fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Preisner’s Music is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Preisner’s Music carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Perte (Eminent Domain) and Lac (Decalogue 1) is really good.
Music in Lac (Decalogue 1) is cool as in all tracks of Preisner’s Music. Commencement (Tu Ne Tueras Point) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Within the first few notes of Decision (Tu Ne Tueras Point) it’s perfectly clear that Preisner, Zbigniew is living this song. I was truly moved when I heard Holocaust (Decalogue 8). Nymphea (Decalogue 9) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Marionettes (La Double Vie De Veronique), which shows, blatantly, how much Preisner, Zbigniew has evolved as a singer. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Pluie (Secret Garden). After few listenings I started to like Jardin d’Hiver (Secret Garden) more and more. Oiseaux (Secret Garden) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Jardin d’Ete (Secret Garden) - arguably the best track on Preisner’s Music album. In Lave (Mouvements du Desir) Preisner, Zbigniew is at his best. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Preisner’s Music is Cascade (At Play In The Fields Of Lord). Damage (Fatale) is a perfect sing-along. Homecoming (Pour l’Amour d’Une Femme) presents the amazing mix of instruments on Preisner’s Music. I listened to the opening track Bataille (Europa Europa) and liked it a lot. Music of Aurore (Quartet In 4 Movements) is gentle, never overbearing. Labyrinthe (Opera Egyptien) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Ciel (Opera Egyptien) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Tango (Trois Couleurs / Blanc) have really caught my ear and imagination. Bolero (Trois Couleurs / Rouge…) is one of the best records ever. Enfer (La Double Vie de Veronique) - This is a very lively song. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Perte (Eminent Domain) good vocals.
