Prince had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. 1-800 New Funk is an amazing album, racked with beauty.This is the first studio album from Prince since bad diagnosis in 1994. I Love 1-800 New Funk from start to finish!
George Clinton - Hollywood is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. The sound in Love Symbol & Nona Gaye - Love Sign is really warm and Prince’s signature voice is still very much present. Mayte - If I Love U 2night is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. The Steeles - Color is one of my favorite songs by Prince. In The New Power Generation - 2gether it becomes nowhere more obvious that Prince has yet to define own style. Margie Cox - Standing At The Altar is the first taste of the new album. Mavis Staples - You Will Be Moved has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Minneapolis - Minneapolis (Reprise) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through 1-800 New Funk.
