This is the first studio album from Prince since bad diagnosis in 1996. Emancipation (Cd2) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It’s natural for Prince to take a stab at ‘Sex In The Summer’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. Unappreciated gift to Pop
Voice and instruments in One Kiss At A Time complement each other. Emale is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Curious Child is Prince’s best work in years. Prince must have run out of lyrics on the next track Soul Sanctuary. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Emancipation (Cd2) is Dreamin’ About U. After few listenings I started to like Joint To Joint more and more. I like the agression and power of The Holy River. If you are a Prince fan, you will love Let’s Have A Baby. Saviour presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Emancipation (Cd2). I came to like The Plan. Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother-Wife is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song.
