Yo! Bum Rush The Show isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This disc has all of the essential Public Enemy classics. While no new Public Enemy album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in Australia. This is what good Hip-Hop should be.
Nice and different song. Once you hear Miuzi Weighs A Ton, you will listen to it over and over. Timebomb is a song to enjoy for years to come. Too Much Posse is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Rightstarter (Message To The Black Man) without a doubt is the standout song of Yo! Bum Rush The Show. Public Enemy No. 1 marked the continuation of Public Enemy in style evolution. M.P.E. - a classic song. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Yo! Bum Rush The Show. Raise The Roof is really the reason why I recommend buying Yo! Bum Rush The Show. Megablast is a bit of a show-tune. Public Enemy allows each song to breathe and flourish.
