While no new Rackevich album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in North America. On Rock’mix’roll album, Rackevich have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. When you buy a Rackevich album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Overall, I would highly recommend Rock’mix’roll CD.
Avers stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Mix-1 is astounding work of Rackevich. Rock-X-Press is probably one of Rackevich’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. I have all of Rackevich’s tracks and Mix-2 is probably the most his introspective effort. Kid Rock - A catchy, upbeat tune. I believe Mix-3 is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. Construction Rock is the most memorable and astounding. Mix-4 - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Mix-5 as a highlight of Rock’mix’roll contains a ton of amazing melodies. Rock-March is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. It’s such an underrated song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Rock-Schedule, which shows, blatantly, how much Rackevich has evolved as a singer. Although Mix-7 is very melodic it is far from sad. Roll-Mix - another great track from the Rock’mix’roll album. Voice of Rackevich in Mix-8 is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. There is exquisite mix of music in Lady’s Rock. In Mix-9 Rackevich is at his best. Sing Lesson good vocals.
