Are You Ready For Some More? carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. five years ago, Reel 2 real briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Jazz It Up”. Lead single “Are You Ready For Some More?” and “Jazz It Up” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is awesome.
There is cool mix of music in Jazz It Up. I hope to keep hearing Reel 2 real works for a long time to come. Pick Your Choice is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Mueve La Cadera (Move Your Body) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Are You Ready For Some More?. Song Ouhh, Baby Baby is actually a funny song. Do Not Panic is a bit different from Reel 2 real stereotypical stuff. Love Hurts is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I came to like Now That We Found Love. Jump Around is probably the highlight of the album. Wicked & Wild is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Reel 2 real has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Only one song from Are You Ready For Some More? named Are You Ready For Some More? (Erick ‘MORE’ Dub) really got me. One listen to the sheer beauty of Jazz It Up (Erick Morillo Project Mix) was all I needed.
