Revolver was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Revolver and Basico together. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Revolver on ‘Dos por dos’. On Basico album, Revolver have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Unappreciated gift to Latin
Dentro de ti is so unique, as each one of the songs is. El roce de tu piel - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Only one song from Basico named Como unico equipaje really got me. Overall a nice softer song. Tu noche y la mia - a classic song. Al natural is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Fuera de lugar is probably the highlight of the album. Best song on the album, love it. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. In Manager’s blues Revolver is at his best. Revolver has astounded me with this amazing track.
