I am not a real Ambient music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Vox Orbita’ really is amazing. Richard Bone was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Richard Bone and Vox Orbita together. Since Richard Bone last CD (Vox Orbita) on Virgin Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. One of Richard Bone’s best albums yet.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Noble was all I needed. In St. Peter’s Portal Richard Bone spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Red Hot Engine - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Vox - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Darling De Deux because the melody in the chorus is so good. I love the melodic melody of In The Shadow Of Rain and to this day it makes me feel good. Beginning To Fade presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Vox Orbita. Rebirth Of Eve is a striking and quite long song. Simple and heartfelt closing track Anastasia Says closes Vox Orbita on a high note. Vocals of Richard Bone in Vox really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Demon Angel (5:20) a good melody. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
