Cutting Branches is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since completing 1995’s ‘Rumor Control’, Ron Boots fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IF you love Ron Boots, ‘Cutting Branches’ Mp3’s is the best!
Cutting Branches Part 1 - Okay, I just talked about depth. I loved Ice Fields the first time I heard it. Cutting Branches Part 2 is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Reflecting Thoughts is simple, dignified and effective, Ron Boots refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Lyrics of Bohirrim are precise and evocative. Some of the arrangements found on Cutting Branches are surprisingly edgy. No Ron Boots song has come close to capturing my attention as Alert No 1 did.
