Jim Jones has compared writing for Rondo Veneziano’s new album to that on ‘Interlude’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since completing 1996’s ‘Orion’, Rondo Veneziano fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Rondo Veneziano’s album Interlude falls to No. 2 with 847,000, a sales slide of 56%. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Interlude.
Gentil Tenzone - another great track from the Interlude album. Venezia Lunare was the first single release from the album Interlude. Rondo Veneziano sings his heart out in Prestige. Idillio is one of the coolest songs Rondo Veneziano has ever recorded. Canto D’addio - A classic Rondo Veneziano track. Some call Rever Venise from Interlude as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Damsels - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. In Controcanto full palet of sound is used by Rondo Veneziano to accentuate the presentation. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Estasi Veneziana is probably the most interesting track on Interlude. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
