From the moment you listen to Two Years Two Days you’re hooked. Voice and instruments in Telecosmic Alchemy complement each other. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Bubbles And scrape. Happily Divided is the albums biggest surprise. Listening to Sister you can hear that Sebadoh has still amazing chemistry with band members. Cliche is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Sacred Attention is a strong cut, one of many. The sound in Elixir Is Zog is really warm and Sebadoh’s signature voice is still very much present. This song stands out greatly from the others. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. You have to get essence of the Homemade’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Some call Forced Love from Bubbles And scrape as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Some of the arrangements found on Bubbles And scrape are surprisingly edgy. I now have Bouquet For A Siren as one of my personal favorites. Think (Let Tomorrow Bee) gets you up and jumping. I came to like Flood.
