one years ago, Sebadoh briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Prince-S”. There is no doubt that Sebadoh has talent. Sebadoh’s debut, ‘Harmacy’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Prince-S one of the best in my collection. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Nothing like you - arguably the best track on Harmacy album. After about the third Crystal gypsy listen through, I began to believe this song is Sebadoh’s essence. The song Beauty of the ride ending is my favorite… so catchy! Mind reader is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Sforzando! - I just love it. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Harmacy. Hillbilly II is another strong production from Sebadoh. Zone doubt is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Too pure is beautiful, yet underrated track. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Love to fight - This one is lively and fun. Music of Perfect way is gentle, never overbearing. Simple and heartfelt closing track Can’t give up closes Harmacy on a high note. Open ended is one of the best records ever. Weed against speed is astounding song though, very addictive. Opening track I smeel a rat shows the best of Sebadoh.
