It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of S.E.N.S. energies, virtually a rebirth. S.E.N.S.’s debut, ‘Built’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since completing 1996’s ‘Into The Building’, S.E.N.S. fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I wish that “Built” album was instrumental.
This is one hell of a track. In Watson you won’t find any flashy solos. Put Mama Renegona into car stereo for your highway driving |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Built. S.E.N.S. breathes new life into the music in Mama Renegona. S.E.N.S. has astounded me with this amazing track. This song stands out greatly from the others. I came to like Wook Danube. I can’t stop humming along Wook Danube. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Floor 2 is possibly the best song S.E.N.S. has come up. As always, S.E.N.S.’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Floor 3 great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Excellent vocals and musical performances. Bee Aunt Bean gives good insight into the truths. Bee Aunt Bean pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. I hope to keep hearing S.E.N.S. works for a long time to come. Bee Aunt Bean gets you up and jumping. Bee Aunt Bean is a great opener for Built. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Out Through The Window - I like this one.
