This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Silke Bischoff has. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Silke Bischoff. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Silke Bischoff’s album The Man On The Wooden Cross falls to No. 2 with 713,000, a sales slide of 91%. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is No Paradise
No Paradise very upbeat. On The Other Side ‘93 is possibly the best song Silke Bischoff has come up. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Benetton-Girl. Close Your Eyes is simple, dignified and effective, Silke Bischoff refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Strange Girl is a song to enjoy for years to come. Music in The Crystal Lake is cool as in all tracks of The Man On The Wooden Cross. The Parting - To me, this is the best song on the The Man On The Wooden Cross. For a Short Moment is just simply stunning. I Don’t Love You Anymore ‘92 is the albums biggest surprise. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The Daughter Of The Sun can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Silke Bischoff is all about. In The Man On The Wooden Cross the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation.
