When you buy a Social Distortion album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Social Distortion on ‘It’s All Over Now’. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Social Distortion’s album Girls, Cars and Loud Guitars falls to No. 2 with 863,000, a sales slide of 99%. To me Social Distortion is the best band ever.
As always, Social Distortion’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Shame On Me - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Lonesome Train - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Social Distortion. Ball and Chain (Edit) was the first single release from the album Girls, Cars and Loud Guitars. Social Distortion is one of artists that allow his songs like Ready For Love to stand on their own and be heard. ALone and Forsaken is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. The song feels complete. This track is clearly meant to showcase Social Distortion’s vocal abilities.
