Now signed to Spazz’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “La Revancha” leads Spazz’s back-to-school campaign. Jim Jones has compared writing for Spazz’s new album to that on ‘La Revancha’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Spazz energies, virtually a rebirth. To me Spazz is the best band ever.
4 Times A Day is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Charming song, great melody. Bobby’s Jackpot Jamboree is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Opening track Dewey Decimal Stitchcore shows the best of Spazz. I like Swampfoot because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. C.L.A. had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Camp Chestnut is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I think No Shadow Kick is the best song Spazz has ever done. The One With The Goat’s Got An Orgy Up The Sleeve sets the tone for the entire album. I believe Bitter (The Execution Of A Chump) is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Let’s Kill Fuckin’ Everybody one is one of the better boring ones. Sweet Home Alabama is really the reason why I recommend buying La Revancha. Raging Hate, Fear and Flower Power Violence is perfect work of Spazz. Climate Best is outstanding work of Spazz. Spazz allows each song to breathe and flourish. I came to like Drunkard Genaii. Sesos is a amazing song and it grows on you. Daljeet’s Detonation is possibly the best song Spazz has come up. Turnbuckle Treachery is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Backpack Bonfire - This is a very lively song. Don’t Quit Your Day Job is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Musica De La Roca is pretty funky and mellow. Coil Of The Serpent Unwinds actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Spazz’s face. Golden Egg Stance is a very catchy tune. M.A.D. is a striking and quite long song.
