Since completing 1995’s ‘The Dance Of Light (1)’, Sri Chinmoy fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Music Of The Aspiration-Heart is an amazing album, racked with beauty.IT makes me wanna dance!
Song Evening Stars Call Me is actually a funny song. Listening to The Dance Of Light (2) you can hear that Sri Chinmoy has still amazing chemistry with band members. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I Have Not Come Into The World is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. I Only Want To Ascend is exquisite work of Sri Chinmoy. My Last Word You Will Heart good vocals. This World Has Recieved Infinity gives good insight into the truths. Sri Chinmoy breathes new life into the music in O Lord Supreme, Do Initiate Me. The sound of Supremely Beautiful, Everybody’s Sacred Heart (1) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This song is dynamic and dramatic. My Universal Father, To You I Give (1) - To me, this is the best song on the Music Of The Aspiration-Heart. Sri Chinmoy sings O My Heart’s Pilot, Do Appear Before Me in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. O Absolute Father Supreme, You Have Come To Me - another great track from the Music Of The Aspiration-Heart album. Blended In The Delight Of Flowers is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Sri Chinmoy released so far. My Heart-River Flows is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Sri Chinmoy ever produced. Although One Has Become Many is very melodic it is far from sad. God The Lover Answer Our Prayers - arguably the best track on Music Of The Aspiration-Heart album. I Implore You is a very catchy tune. Never Say No which is my favorite is a truly Sri Chinmoy sounding song. Where Is Death? is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. He Who Transforms All Suffering Into Ecstasy’s Flood had me crying as I was able to relate so well. When I Worship You With My Tears - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with After Closing My Mind’s Door. The opening track My Dream Will Be Fulfilled is very much like you would expect from other albums. Music Of The Aspiration-Heart is probably one of Sri Chinmoy’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. My Universal Father, To You I Give (2) makes a person feel marvelous. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I Want Peace is a fine track on any terms. Music Is Playing - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Sri Chinmoy. In All Day And Night I Shall Walk With You Sri Chinmoy spins a tale you want to hear to the end. First time I heard Hold On To The Truth For Your Own Life was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.As always, Sri Chinmoy’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Truth, Benevolence, Beauty still maintains something of a specific flourish. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Sri Chinmoy. My Life Has Grown Into The Delight Of Cosmic Dance on Music Of The Aspiration-Heart is solid and easy to listen to. Crying And Smiling - This one is lively and fun. After about the third No Fear Of Life, No Fear Of Death listen through, I began to believe this song is Sri Chinmoy’s essence. Opening track At Your Feet shows the best of Sri Chinmoy. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Call Has Come, Lord Supreme’s Call is the funkiest number on the album. Compassion Descends Always Unconditionally actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Sri Chinmoy’s face.
