Supermarket isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “Natural” and “Here We Go” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Stakka Bo comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. If I may, I suggest “Natural”. That one song is amazing!
Here We Go is a amazing, simple song by Stakka Bo at the top of his game. People (And The Things We Do) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. On Your Knees is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Happyman is the song that really did it for me. Listening to Everything you can hear that Stakka Bo has still amazing chemistry with band members. Voice of Stakka Bo in Down The Drain is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Under Direction - A catchy, upbeat tune. Living It Up is the albums biggest surprise. First time I heard We was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
