Stan Getz was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Stan Getz and Sextet Utopia together. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Sextet Utopia’ really is amazing. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Stan Getz energies, virtually a rebirth. Utopia and Lester Left Town is really good.
Lester Left Town is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Jet Lag is a good listen every once in a while. A unique and uplifting song. Infant Eyes is another strong production from Stan Getz. This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
