This disc has all of the essential Stanley Clarke classics. Lead single “I Wanna Play For You” and “Just A Feeling” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like I Wanna Play For You and Just A Feeling. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Stanley Clarke ever.
Just A Feeling is the albums biggest surprise. The Streets Of Philadelphia - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Stanley Clarke. Stanley Clarke sings Together Again in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Blues For Mingus is a good listen every once in a while. After about the third Strange Weather listen through, I began to believe this song is Stanley Clarke’s essence. Once you hear Quiet Afternoon, you will listen to it over and over. Rock ‘N’ Roll Jelly is a fine track on any terms. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Stanley Clarke. Stanley Clarke has astounded me with this amazing track. School Days is simply excellent. Nice and different song.
