Lead single “Groundswell” and “Thunder Brother” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Artifacts is an amazing album, racked with beauty.There is no doubt that Steve Roach has talent. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Artifacts.
Although Thunder Brother is very melodic it is far from sad. The Origin Of Artifacts - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Your Own Eyes is absolutely incredible. Ancestral Horizon is so unique, as each one of the songs is. From the moment you listen to Temple Of The Frog you’re hooked. Begin Where I End pretty much defines how I feel spiritually.
