This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Suede. Since completing 1993’s ‘Animal Lover’, Suede fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Self-described as Alternative with lots of words, Suede comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Suede touched my soul like nothing else.
Animal Nitrate is a bit of a show-tune. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The song feels complete. Moving - A nice song. Pantomime Horse - A catchy, upbeat tune. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think She’s Not Dead is my favorite song on Suede. Sleeping Pills is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. First time I heard So Young was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.The Drowners is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Voice of Suede in The Next Life is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
