The 3rd and The Mortal had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since The 3rd and The Mortal last CD (Painting On Glass) on Sparrow Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The 3rd and The Mortal’s album Painting On Glass falls to No. 2 with 707,000, a sales slide of 83%. If you love The 3rd and The Mortal as much as I do, then The 3rd and The Mortal Painting On Glass is the CD for you!
Commemoration - Okay, I just talked about depth. Crystal Orchids is astounding. Persistent and Fleeting is marvelous song though, very addictive. White Whaters is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Aurora Borealis is my favorite song on Painting On Glass. Dreamscapes gives taste of what makes The 3rd and The Mortal special as a musician. Aurora Australis is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Azure is probably the highlight of the album. Veiled Exposure is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Simple and heartfelt closing track Stairs closes Painting On Glass on a high note. Eat The Distance gets you up and jumping. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Horizons is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Painting On Glass have ended.
