Music and lyrics of Do The Honky Tonk creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. He Don’t Love You is probably the highlight of the album. Katie’s Been Gone pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Bessie Smith - a classic song. From the moment you listen to Orange Juice Blues (Blues For Breakfast) you’re hooked. Ain’t No Cane On The Brazos has a fun tempo. Slippin’ and Slidin’ presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Across the Great Divide (CD3). Twilight is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Music of Back To Memphis is gentle, never overbearing. Put Too Wet To Work into car stereo for your highway driving This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Endless Highway - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. The Band is one of artists that allow his songs like She Knows to stand on their own and be heard. Evangeline is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Out Of The Blue is one of these floating songs. The Weight stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The Last Waltz Refrain is exquisite and different song. Theme From The Last Waltz is a very catchy tune.
