This album has some very good songs like Forgiven Not Forgotten and Heaven Knows. Forgiven, Not Forgotten isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On Forgiven, Not Forgotten album, The Corrs have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Smart music for smart people.
Heaven Knows is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The Corrs is one of artists that allow his songs like Along With The Girls (Instrumental) to stand on their own and be heard. This song stands out greatly from the others. The song Runaway ending is my favorite… so catchy! The sound of The Right Time is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. The Corrs has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I like Toss The Feathers (Instrumental) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Love To Love You is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I like to sing along with Secret Life, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. The Corrs rocks harder than ever with Carraroe Jig (Instrumental). Closer is The Corrs’s best work in years. Leave Me Alone one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Music in Erin Shore (Instrumental) is gorgeous as in all tracks of Forgiven, Not Forgotten.
