Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Flying Burrito Brothers on ‘She Belongs To Everyone But Me’. IF YOU LIKE ALL The Flying Burrito Brothers’S SONG GO FOR IT! It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of The Flying Burrito Brothers energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on In Concert is She Belongs To Everyone But Me (2). Music and lyrics of Baby How’d We Ever Get This Way creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Too Much Honkey Tonkin’ is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Midnight Magic Woman is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. My Abandoned Heart is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. She’s A Friend Of Mine - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. In Louisiane full palet of sound is used by The Flying Burrito Brothers to accentuate the presentation. Cheating Kind Of Love is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track The Flying Burrito Brothers ever produced. That’s When You Know It’s Over - Check out that bassline! I Swear I Son’t Miss Her Anymore very upbeat. She’s A Hell Of A Deal - I like this one. Another Shade Of Grey is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Damned If I’ll Be Lonely Tonight is absolutely incredible. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This track is a great song that still never gets old. True Love Never Runs Dry has a fun tempo. This song may be the most meaningful.
