This is the first studio album from The Highwaymen since bad diagnosis in 1995. Lead single “The Devil’s Right Hand” and “Live Forever” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It has been eleven years The Highwaymen’ last studio CD, “The Road Goes on Forever” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Last Hot Album by The Highwaymen
One listen to the sheer beauty of Live Forever was all I needed. Everyone Gets Crazy is a good listen every once in a while. It Is What It Is is marvelous song though, very addictive. A great put together song. I like An End To Understanding because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. True Love Travels A Gravel Road is a very catchy tune. Death And Hell is a bit of a show-tune. Waiting For A Long Time is one of the best records ever. This track is a great song that still never gets old. The Road Goes On Forever is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses.
