While no new The Kelly Family album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1993 tour in Africa. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Very Best…Over 10 Years.
Ave Maria is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Musically Danny Boy is superior to other tracks in The Very Best…Over 10 Years. Music in Es Waren Zwei Konigkinder is exquisite as in all tracks of The Very Best…Over 10 Years. Simple and heartfelt closing track Greensleeves closes The Very Best…Over 10 Years on a high note. Hiroshima,I’m Sorry - arguably the best track on The Very Best…Over 10 Years album. House On The Ocean one of the best in my collection. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Let It Be have really caught my ear and imagination. Let My People Go is probably the highlight of the album. Ode To Joy is worth the money. In Old Mcdonald the music gets its power. Shenandoah actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Kelly Family’s face. Take My Hand is another strong production from The Kelly Family. I find myself hearing bits of The Rose here and there throughout my waking hours. Who’ll Come With Me one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
