Bun B. Hear has compared writing for The Legendary Pink Dots’s new album to that on ‘Canta Mientras Puedas’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Lead single “Belladona” and “I Love You in Your Tragic Beauty” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Canta Mientras Puedas carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album is awesome.
I Love You in Your Tragic Beauty is a excellent, simple song by The Legendary Pink Dots at the top of his game. Green Gang presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Canta Mientras Puedas. Once Princess Coldheart gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. I can’t stop humming along Disturbance. What sets The Grain Kings apart is The Legendary Pink Dots’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Once you hear Prague Spring, you will listen to it over and over. A Triple Moon Salute - This is a very lively song. Joey The Canary is the albums biggest surprise. Siren is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Vocals of The Legendary Pink Dots in The Angel Trail really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. A Velvet Resurrection (version is really a nice song to relax and listen too. I now have Friend (version) as one of my personal favorites.
