There is no doubt that The Legendary Pink Dots has talent. Since completing 1995’s ‘A Triple Moon Salute’, The Legendary Pink Dots fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Legendary Pink Dots on ‘A Triple Moon Salute’. This is my first The Legendary Pink Dots Album and i must say i am blown away.
Cease your lonely mourning is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I now have Little Oyster as one of my personal favorites. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Catch a match. A bang bang. A Flashing fist O’crackerjack. A smack. A lick. A char char. You’re all burned out.. Invaders in the raita is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. The Artificial Silence pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Only one song from Chemical Playschool Volume 8 named A Chrome Zone in Powder Park really got me. Pandora’s Socks is outstanding work of The Legendary Pink Dots. Music of Andromeda Suite is gentle, never overbearing. Once Pastorial gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
