This is one of the best Cd’s The London Philharmonic Orchestra has dropped to date. ‘Us and Them - Symphonic Pink Floyd’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lead single “Time” and “Brain Damage” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Brain Damage rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Comfortably Numb is the funkiest number on the album. In Breathe you won’t find any flashy solos. Money is a good listen every once in a while. Don’t judge The Great Gig In the Sky on the first listening. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Us And Them is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Us and Them - Symphonic Pink Floyd. Time gets you up and jumping.
