The Notwist was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Notwist and 12 together. Self-described as Indie with lots of words, The Notwist comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This album has some very good songs like Torture Day and My Phrasebook. This album is awesome.
I like the agression and power of My Phrasebook. When listening to Puzzle, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. M (4:12) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Noah is simply perfect. My Faults (3:15) a good melody. From the moment you listen to String you’re hooked. Instrument is the more seemingly obscure song on 12 that bear up best to repeated listening. The Notwist sings 12 in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Simple and heartfelt closing track Loup (bonus track) closes 12 on a high note. 12 (bonus track) is another strong production from The Notwist.
