Pomme Fritz is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Lead single “Pomme Fritz (Meat ‘n Veg)” and “More Gills Less Fishcakes” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is More Gills Less Fishcakes
The first time I listened to More Gills Less Fishcakes I was struck by its cool sound. We’re Pastie To Be Grill You is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I was truly moved when I heard Bang ‘er ‘n Chips. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Alles Ist Schoen, which shows, blatantly, how much The Orb has evolved as a singer. I can’t stop playing His Immortal Logness.
