Now signed to Tito Nieves’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Dejame Vivir” leads Tito Nieves’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Algo Diferente, I had to have a good Tito Nieves cd. While no new Tito Nieves album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Europe. Tito Nieves “Dejame Vivir” is an amazing album.
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. How Do You Keep The Music Playing is the funkiest number on the album. Almohada is simple, dignified and effective, Tito Nieves refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Dejame Vivir is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Dejame Vivir have ended. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. What sets I’m Gonna Love You Just A Little Bit More Baby apart is Tito Nieves’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Te Amo is pretty funky and mellow. I listened to the opening track Make It Like It Was and liked it a lot. A fantastic track full of wonder.
