Lead single “Tattoo” and “Poems” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. ‘Nearly God’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Tricky. Overall, I would highly recommend Nearly God CD.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Poems was all I needed. Together Now is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Keep Your Mouth Shut motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. I Be The Prophet is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Make A Change (6:01) - awsome. Black Coffee is one of my favorite songs by Tricky. Bubbles - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Album opener I Sing For You is a bright, upbeat ditty. Yoga is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
