It has been twelve years Trisha Yearwood’ last studio CD, “The Song Remembers When” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. twelve years ago, Trisha Yearwood briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Better Your Heart Than Mine”. After seeing The Song Remembers When, I had to have a good Trisha Yearwood cd. This album is a scorcher!
Music and lyrics of Better Your Heart Than Mine creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. I Don’t Fall In Love So Easy is pretty funky and mellow. Hard Promises To Keep is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Mr. Radio is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. If I Ain’t Got You - This is a very lively song. I like to sing along with One In A Row, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Lying To The Moon.
