Since completing 1995’s ‘Intro’, Umbra Et Imago fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. To me Umbra Et Imago is the best band ever.
It’s such an underrated song. Umbra Et Imago is one of artists that allow his songs like Genealogie Der Moral to stand on their own and be heard. This is one hell of a track. Gedanken Eines Vampires is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Umbra Et Imago released so far. Get Gedankein Eines Vampires and turn on Wake Up if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Devotion gives taste of what makes Umbra Et Imago special as a musician. Sail Away is a very catchy tune. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Wolfsfrau defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
