After seeing Toccata and Fugue in D minor, I had to have a good Vanessa Mae cd. This album has some very good songs like Toccata and Fugue in D minor and Contradanza. There were many famous songs of Vanessa Mae available. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Contradanza is my favorite song on The Violin Player. I hope to keep hearing Vanessa Mae works for a long time to come. Theme from ‘Caravans’ is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The Violin Player couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Warm Air. Jazz Will Eat Itself is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Widescreen is a great opener for The Violin Player. This is probably my favorite song on the album. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Violin Player off to a relaxing start. Overall a nice softer song. In Classical Gas (Reggae Version) the music gets its power.
