This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Vidna Obmana has. There is no doubt that Vidna Obmana has talent. fourteen years ago, Vidna Obmana briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Traditional Spirit (Glm Seni…)”. Exciting stuff.
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Sanctuary Of Reply - To me, this is the best song on the Twilight Of Perception. The song feels complete. Primary (Gamelan 3) is really the reason why I recommend buying Twilight Of Perception. Vidna Obmana is one of artists that allow his songs like Twilight Came to stand on their own and be heard. There is exquisite mix of music in Charm Mystique. Torch Of Remembrance - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Shamanistic Return - Okay, I just talked about depth. The sound in By Abundant Rain is really warm and Vidna Obmana’s signature voice is still very much present.
