On Savageland album, X Wild have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There is so much to love about X Wild, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since completing 1996’s ‘Savageland(Intro)’, X Wild fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about X Wild ever.
Nice and different song. X Wild has astounded me with this amazing track. All of songs on Savageland and have something to say letting alone Born For War. This is one hell of a track. In Children Of The Underground you won’t find any flashy solos. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Savageland. Die Like A Man (4:24) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Within the first few notes of Field Of Blackbirds it’s perfectly clear that X Wild is living this song. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Hunting The Damned is nothing but pure genius. X Wild breathes new life into the music in Chaos Ends.
