When you buy a Zakir Hussain album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is no doubt that Zakir Hussain has talent. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Zakir Hussain’s new album to that on ‘Magical Moments Of Rhythm’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Great Folk right here!
Tintal - Toronto (Canada) 1989 - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Tintal - Ambala (India) 1987 is one of the best records ever. Listening to 6 1/2 Beat Tala (Solo) - Berkeley (Ca, Usa) 1989 you can hear that Zakir Hussain has still amazing chemistry with band members. No Zakir Hussain song has come close to capturing my attention as Tintal (Edited) - Delhi (India) 1992 did. I like Tintal - Ambala (India) 1987 (#2) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In Adi Tala (Solo, Edited) - Ahmedabad (India) 1992 the music gets its power. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Pancham Sawari - Fairfax (Ca, Usa) 1989 is a strong cut, one of many. Keharwa - Agra (India) 1987 is perfect work of Zakir Hussain.
